You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What have you been doing for hours?
y=mx+b
6=8*-7+b
6=-56+b
62=b
So now we have the y intercept (b=62) and the slope (m=8)
y=mx+b
y=8x+62

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the slope is 8, then m = 8

If the point (-7,6) lies on the line, then x = -7 and y = 6

We can use these facts, along with the equation y = mx+b, to find the value of 'b' which will effectively give us the equation of the line

y = mx+b

y = 8x + b

6 = 8(-7) + b

6 = -56 + b

6 + 56 = b

62 = b

b = 62

So the equation of the line is y+=+8x%2B62
