You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two stockbrokers are making cold calls to potential customers regarding a hot IPO. One of the brokers is able to get a new client every 0.125 hour, and the other is able to get a new client every 0.2 hour. At what rate (in new clients per hour) are the new clients being acquired when both are working?
--------------
1st broker:
rate=0.125 clients per hour
2nd broker:
rate=0.200 clients per hour
Working together:
rate=0.125 + 0.200=0.325 clients per hour
