You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
Present age of Jennifer = J
Present age of Ramon = r

Jennifer is twice as old as Ramon
j=2r.....................(1)

7 years ago
Jennifer was = j-7
Ramon was = r-7
Then
The sum of their ages was 13
(j-7)+(r-7)=13
j-7+r-7=13
j+r-14=13
j+r=13+14
j+r=27........................(2)
Put the value of j from (1) to (2)
2r+r=27
3r=27
3r/3=27/3
r=9
Put the value of r in (1)
j=2r
j=2(9)
j=18

Present age of Jennifer = J = 18 years old
Present age of Ramon = r = 9 years old
