You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You don't really "solve", rather you're simplifying:
(3k+2k^2-4)-(k^2+k-6)
distribute the "minus" to terms inside 2nd parenthesis:
(3k+2k^2-4)-k^2-k+6
remove remaining parenthesis:
3k+2k^2-4-k^2-k+6
group like-terms:
2k^2-k^2+3k-k-4+6
combine like-terms:
k^2+2k+2
