Question 574383: I have 3 problems Find an equation of the line having the given slope and containing the given point.
(1) m=4/5,(2,3)
(2) m=5,(4,3)
(3) (-4,-4) and (3,3)
Find an equation of the the line containing the given pair of points.
Express your answer in the form x=a y=b, or y=mx +b

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find an equation of the line having the given slope and containing the given point.
----
Line Form: y = mx + b
In each case solve for "b":
(1) m=4/5,(2,3)
3 = (4/5)2 + b
7/5 = b
y = (4/5)x + (7/5)
=========================
(2) m=5,(4,3)
3 = 5*4 + b
b = -17
y = 5x - 17
=========================
(3) (-4,-4) and (3,3)
m = (3--4)/(3--4) = 1
------
3 = 1*3 + b
b = 0
y = x
===============================
