Question 57282: Can someone help me give the coordiates of the point on the graph I will try to explain to you the best I can?
I have the x-axis and y-axis. Where they meet in the middle going right of y the bar numbers go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and on the right side of the y-axis from the middle of y and on the left side it goes -1, -2, -3, -4, -5
The point that I need to coordinate is on the bottom right of x and right of the y-axis bar, 5 bars down and 4 bars over from the y-axis bar.
Thanks so much if you can help.
Ashley

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi Ashley,
You know that I try to answer your questions if I understand them.
:
I have the x-axis and y-axis. Where they meet in the middle going right of y the bar numbers go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and on the right side of the y-axis from the middle of y and on the left side it goes -1, -2, -3, -4, -5
The point that I need to coordinate is on the bottom right of x and right of the y-axis bar, 5 bars down and 4 bars over from the y-axis bar.
:
The left and right values are x's and the up and down values are y's. We list our coordinates as (x,y) If I'm understanding you correctly, you have a point that is 4 units to the right of the origin (the place where the x and y-axis cross), this would make your x=4, and five units down would make your y=-5. Therefore the coordinate is (4,-5).
Happy Calculating!!!
