Are you able to send our graphs to your teacher? I know there are applets available on line that graph, you can try googling them.
2x + y = 4
Let x=0 and solve for y.
2(0)+y=4
y=4
Plot (0,4) this is your y-intercept.
:
Let y=0 and solve for x.
2x+0=4
2x=4
2x/2=4/2
x=2
Plot (2,0) this is your x-intercept.
Connect the points and you have a graph that looks like:
