The slope, m, is defined as m=%28y%5B2%5D-y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D-x%5B1%5D%29. It doesn't matter which ordered pair is x%5B1%5D,y%5B1%5D and x%5B2%5D,y%5B2%5D because you'll get the same answer. But we don't even need to substitute anything here because upon close inspection of the points shows us that the y-values are exactly the same. That means the numerator will be 0, and therefore, the slope will be 0.
