You can put this solution on YOUR website! To find the hourly rate of temperature change you mmust first find out how many hours have passed during the temperature change.
from 8:00am to 1:00pm 5 hours have passed.
minus the final temperature (52 degrees) from the initial temperature (47 degrees) to find the temperature change. In this case the total temperature change is 5 degrees.
to find the rate of increase per hour divide the time in hours by the temperature change.
5hours/5 degrees= 1 Degree per hour increase.
