graph y = 1/2 x.
let x=0 and solve for y
y=(1/2)(0)
y=0
Plot (0,0)
:
let x=2 and solve for y
y=(1/2)(2)
y=2/2
y=1
Plot (2,1)
Connect the points and you have a line that looks like:
