You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi Sher,
:
Which of the ordered pairs:
(-3,3), (9,0), (-3, -3), (-23, 8)
are solutions for the equation x + 4y = 9?
:
Ordered pairs are in this order: (x,y)
For (-3,3)
(-3)+4(3)=9
-3+12=9
9=9 true
(-3,3) is a solution.
:
For (9,0)
(9)+4(0)=9
9+0=9
9=9 true
(9,0) is a solution
:
For (-3,-3)
(-3)+4(-3)=9
-3-12=9
-15=9 Not true
(-3,3) is NOT a solution.
:
For (-23,8)
(-23)+4(8)=9
-23+32=9
9=9 true
(-23,8) is a solution.
Happy Calculating,Sher!!!
