You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How many Liters of pure water should be mixed with a 17-L solution of 60% acid to produce a mix that is 80% water?
------
Equation:
water + water = water
1*x + 0.40*17 = 0.80(x+17)
----
Multiply thru by 100 to get:
100x + 40*17 = 80x + 80*17
20x = 40*17
x = 2*17 = 34 liters (amt. of water needed)
