You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
Let's get both equations in Slope-intercept form first.
Y = -3/2x + 2
3x + 2y = 8
2y=-3x+8
y=-3/2x+8
As we can see both equations have a slope of -3/2 so both lines are parallel.
Make sense?
