You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Give the center of the circle with the equation
x^2 + 2x + y^2 - 10y + 22 = 0.
Rewrite as:
x^2+2x+? + y^2-10y+? =-22+?
Complete the square twice to get:
x^2+2x+1 + y^2-10y+25=-22+1+25
Factor to get:
(x+1)^2 + (y-5)^2 = 4
Center at (-1,5)
