You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi Ashley,
Write the equation of the line with given slope and y-intercept. Then graph each line using the slope and y-intercept.
Slope: - 3/4; y-intercept: (0, 8)
The slope intercept form of a line is highlight%28y=mx%2Bb%29 where m=slope and (0,b)= y-intercept.
Your slope is: m=-3/4 and (0,b)=(0,8)
highlight%28y=%28-3%2F4%29x%2B8%29
Plot (0,8), from there use the slope=m=rise%2Frun=-3%2F4. Let your rise keep the sign and always run to the right. Go down 3 and right 4 and plot another point at what should be (4,5). Connect the dots and you have a line:

Happy Calculating, Ashley!!!
