Distribute: 2x-3-x=-15
Simplify: x-3=-15
add 3 to both sides: x=-12
Proof:
1/2 (4*-12-6)-(-12)=-15
1/2(-54)-(-12)=-15
-27-(-12)=-15
-27+12=-15 (Whenever you subtract a negative number, it's the same as adding a positive number.)
-15=-15
