Hello,
We know complementary is 90 degrees so we can write an equation as:
x represents one angle
5x-6 represents the other one
x+5x-6=90
Solve for x
6x=96
x=16
So we know one angle is 16 degrees and the other is 74 degrees.
Make sense?
