You can put this solution on YOUR website!
BC is a 30-60-90 triangle with a right angle at B. Use the measure of the side given to find the measure of the indicated side.
BC= 20, find AB
:
We can use the tangent of 60 degrees to find side AB
That is: tan(60) = %28side+opposite%29%2F%28side+adjacent%29
tan(60) = %28AB%29%2F20
1.732 = %28AB%29%2F20
AB = 1.732 * 20
AB = 34.64
