solve the equation 20%2F%28x%2B1%29-30%2F%28x%2B6%29 = 4
:
This right: 2(2x^2+19x-33) = 0; will factor to
(2x-3)(x+11) = 0
x = 1.5
x = -11
:
If you cannot factor it, you can use the quadratic formula to arrive at the same thing
