Question 560715: Please help me with the following question: determine the value of r so that the line that passes through the points (-9, 1) and (r, -5) has slope -1
I've tried this:
m= (-5-1)/(r-3)=-1
And got the answer of 3 and then checked it and found it as wrong.
If you can help it would be much appreciated!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It should be (-5-1)/(r-(-9))=-1, try it again and let me know what you get.
