in 1 hour you go 15 miles
your friend goes 13 miles
yall still have 9 miles to cover.

I'm not sure how to explain this but basically i did trial and error.
time --- You ---------- your friend
30mins---7.5------------6-----------too much if you add them all together
15mins---3.75-----------3-----------too much
20mins----5-------------4-----------equals 9

So you will ride 20 miles and your friend will ride 17 miles and it will take yall 1 hr and 20mins
