2nd Interger = x+4


Given

Three times the smaller of two consecutive even integers is the same as -146 minus 4 times the larger integer.
3(x+2)=4(x+4)-146
3x+6=4x+16-146
3x+6=4x-130
3x-4x=-130-6
-x=-136
Multiply by -1 both sides
-x(-1)=-136(-1)
x=136
