Question 559030: vehicle A must come within 300 feet of following vehicle B both traveling in same direction. Vehicle A is already traveling at 70 MPH when it crosses an imaginary start line. Vehicle B begins chase from a dead stop from same start line. Vehicle A must progrssively accelerate faster than 70 MPH in order to come within 300 feet for a visual identification.
please calculate the time in seconds it will take Vehicle A to come within 300 feet at 100MPH. Can you also show the formula so I can modify for differnt speeds?
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
vehicle A must come within 300 feet of following vehicle B both traveling in same direction.
----------------
You have to specify B's rate of acceleration, and to what speed, not just faster than 70 mph.
