separate the constant ___ (x^2 + bx) + c

complete the square ___ (x^2 + bx + b^2/4) + c - b^2/4
___ and adjust the constant (to maintain the value of the expression)

rewrite in desired form ___ (x + b/2)^2 + c - b^2/4
