Question 555967: The questions asks:
What is the most precise classification of this quadrilateral which has opposite sides with equal slopes and consecutive sides with slopes that are negative reciprocals?
I have tried to graph things that would work and thought of the descriptions of the geometric shapes, but I just can't seem to find one that fits this description. Answer by KMST(5328) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If opposite sides have equal slopes they are parallel.
That makes your quadrilateral a parallelogram.
If consecutive sides have slopes that are negative reciprocals, that makes them perpendicular.
A parallelogram with right angles is called a rectangle.
