You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3y^2-x-6y+5=0 What kind of conic is this? And how to put in standard form?
..
3y^2-x-6y+5=0
x=3y^2-6y+5=0
complete the square:
x=3(y^2-2y+1)+5-3
x=3(y-1)^2+2
This is an equation of a parabola which opens rightwards with vertex at (2,1)
Standard form: x=A(y-k)^2+h, with (h,k) being the (x,y) coordinates of the vertex. A is a multiplier which affects the narrowness of the curve.
