x-3x%2B6=7x-2x-5 Distribute.


-2x%2B6=7x-2x-5 Combine like terms on the left side.


-2x%2B6=5x-5 Combine like terms on the right side.


-2x=5x-5-6 Subtract 6 from both sides.


-2x-5x=-5-6 Subtract 5x from both sides.


-7x=-5-6 Combine like terms on the left side.


-7x=-11 Combine like terms on the right side.
