.
Since the speed (r) was the same, than
d=rt
r=d/t
so,
r=r or
d/t=d/t [Plug in the values for the first and second day]
360 miles/(t+2) = 270/t [Solve for t]
360/(t+2)=270/t
360t=270(t+2)
360t=270t+540
360t-270t=540
90t=540
t=6 hours on the second day
