(x^2+4x+4)(x+2)[FOIL]
(x^3+4x^2+4x+2x^2+8x+8)[Multiply by (x+2)

%28x%5E2%2B4x%2B4%29%28x%2B2%29 Distribute all the terms in the first parenthesis through all the terms in the second parenthesis:
