You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x and y are the numbers.
then
x*y= 56
and x-y= 8
x= 8+y
so,
(8+y)y = 56
so,
y%5E2+%2B8y+-56+=0
y= +%28-8%2B-+sqrt%288%5E2+-+4%2A1%2A%28-56%29%29%29%2F2
y= +%28-8%2B-+sqrt%28288%29%29%2F2+
y= +-4%2B-+6sqrt%282%29+
so, numbers are -4 + 6sqrt(2) and 4+6sqrt(2)
