You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's a good thing you have a chemist here. (My name is KMST because I am a KeMiST).
A mole of an ideal gas has a volume of 22.4 liters at STP (standard temperature and pressure, 0 °C and 760 mm Hg).
A mole of anything is 6.022 x 10^23 units.
Neon gas is as ideal as you can get. It is made of single atoms (monoatomic molecules), so you would have 6.022 x 10^23 atoms (one mole) in 22.4 liters of Ne(g) at STP.
The number of moles you have is
1.725%2A10%5E24%2F%286.022%2A10%5E23%29
At STP, the gas would occupy a volume, in liters) of
1.725%2A10%5E24%2A22.4%2F%286.022%2A10%5E23%29 =
%281.725%2A22.4%2F6.022%29%2A%2810%5E24%2F10%5E23%29 = 6.42%2A10%5E1 = 6.42%2A10=62.4
The volume of gases changes with temperature and pressure.
If no conditions were specified, I would answer "62.4L at STP".
