Let number of dimes by "x" ; Value of those dimes is 10x cents
Number of quarters is "102-x"; Value of those coins is 25(102-x)=2550-25x cents
EQUATION:
value + value = 1360 cents
10x + 2550-25x = 1360
-15x=-1190
x= 79 1/3
Comment: This is meaningless. You can't have 79 1/3 dimes.
