NOW SQUARE BOTH SIDES
2Y+11=Y^2
Y^2-2Y-11=0
USING THE QUADRATIC EQUATION WE GET
Y=(2+-SQRT48)/2
Y=2+-4SQRT6)/2
Y=1+-2SQRT6 OR
Y=4.464
Y=-2.464
