You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
Tracy has = x
Steve has = 2x+3
Given
Together they have = 57

Tracy has + Steve has = Together they have
x+2x+3=57
3x+3=57
3x=57-3
3x=54
3x/3=54/3
x=18

Tracy has = x = 18
Steve has = 2x+3 = 2(18)+3 = 36+3 = 39
