You can put this solution on YOUR website! One way to find "x" is to graph
y=sinx and y=x+1 using a graphing
calculator, and then find the
point of intersection.
You have to put your calculator
into radian mode to get a meaningful
answer.
I get an answer of -1.9345632146...
