Age of youngest brother = x+2
Age of elder brother = x+4
Age of oldest brother = x+6


Three time the age of the youngest brother exceeds the oldest brother age by 48years
3(x+2)=(x+6)+48
3x+6=x+6+48
3x+6=x+54
3x-x=54-6
2x=48
2x/2=48/2
x=24

Age of youngest brother = x+2 = 24+2 = 26
Age of elder brother = x+4 = 24+4 = 28
Age of oldest brother = x+6 = 24+6 = 30
