Let x = the unknown angle

The complement of angle x is 90-x and because the complement is 22 degrees, we know that 90-x = 22


Solve for x to get -x = 22-90 ---> -x = -68 ---> x = 68


So the original angle is 68 degrees and the supplement of 68 degrees is 180 - 68 = 112 degrees
