Question 550104: I have 11 classes. In 6 classes I received an A, in 4 classes I received a B and in 1 class I receive a C. I tried dividing each into 100%, but something is not working. My answer came out to 60% of A's, 40% of B's and 1% for C's. But how can this be when the total is 100%? Please tell me if I did this right or how do I figure out what percentage of A's, B's and C's I received?
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are 11 classes.
The fraction of classes with an A is +6%2F11+
The fraction of classes with a B is +4%2F11+
The fraction of classes with a C is +1%2F11+
---------------
% of A's is +%286%2F11%29%2A100+ = 54.55%
% of B's is +%284%2F11%29%2A100+ = 36.36%
% of C's is +%281%2F11%29%2A100+ = 9.09%
These add up to 100%
