3x/(x-2)=(3x+5)/(x-1)
3x(x-1)=(x-2)(3x+5)
3x^2-3x=3x^2+5x-6x-10
-3x+6x-5x=-10
-4x=-10
/-4
x=-10/4
x=-5/2

3x(x - 1) = (x - 2)(3x + 5) ----- Cross-multiplying

3x%5E2+-+3x+=+3x%5E2+%2B+5x+-+6x+-+10

3x%5E2+-+3x%5E2+-+3x+%2B+x+=+-+10

- 2x = - 10

x = %28-+10%29%2F-+2, or highlight_green%285%29

With x being 5, the denominator DOES not equal 0, so the value of x is indeed highlight_green%285%29

I'm sure you can do the check to determine if this equation is true, with x having a value of 5
