Question 549633: find the inverse function of f(x)=Log(8x)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
we have f(x)=log(8x)
which is just y=log(8x)
To find the inverse just switch x and y
x=log%288y%29
and solve for y
To get rid of the log we must do the opposite operation which is 10^x
10%5Ex=10%5E%28log%288y%29%29
10%5Ex=%288y%29
%2810%5Ex%29%2F8=%288y%29%2F8
%2810%5Ex%29%2F8=y
So y=%2810%5Ex%29%2F8 is the inverse function.
