You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can let n be your first number and n+2 be your second number and make your equation this way.
Since you are given the product if you used the method above, you will end up getting the correct answer although technically if n is our first number I could have 1 and n+2=3 which are not even.
To be more specific the better way to do it would be let 2n be your first number and 2(n+1) be your second number
(if you had odd numbers you would let 2n+1 be your first number and 2n+3 be your second number)
