You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Call the people A, B and C

If A has A dollars,
Then B has 2A dollars (twice as much as the first)
Then C has 2A-5 dollars (5 less than B, and B has 2A)

Their sum is 80 so:

A+2A+2A-5=80
5A-5=80
5A=85
A=17

A has $17, B has 2A=2*17=$34, C has 2A-5 = $34-5 = $29
