well from logical standpoint it has to be (d)
example: s1=5 x=3 and s2=10 y=6
from origin s1 is 5 meters out and it takes 3 secs to get to
s2 is 10 meters out and takes 6 secs to get to
then logically to find distance traveled it would be s2-s1=10-5 and amount of time y-x=6-3
so 5 meters for every 3 secs
