log3(x^5)-2=18
log3(x^5)=20
convert to exponential form: base(3) raised to log of number(20)=number(20)
3^20=x^5
take 5th root of both sides or raise both sides by (1/5) power
(3^20)^(1/5)=(x^5)^(1/5)
x=3^4=81
