| Question 54640: Can someone help me on this problem?
I need to find four solutions for this equation:
Celsius temperature readings can be converted to Fahrenheit readings using the furmula F = 9/5 C + 32. What is the Fahrenheit temperature that corresponds to each of the following Celsius temperatures: -10, 0, 15, 100?
 Thanks,
 Sher

You can put this solution on YOUR website! F = 9/5 C + 32 [Basic formula] F(C) = 9/5 C + 32
[Plug the values of each Celcius temperature into the basic formula and solve]
 .
 .
 Example:
 F(C) = 9/5 C + 32
 F(-10) = 9/5(-10) + 32
 F(-10) = (9)(-2) + 32
 F(-10) = -18+32
 F(-10) = -18+32
 F(-10)=14
So 14 degrees Farenheit is equivalent to -10 degrees Celcius.
Check by plugging the numbers back into the original equation.
 .
Follow the same pattern for 0, 15 and 100
