You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 5-3x
Slopes of parallel lines are the same.
y = 5-3x
-5 + 3x = -y
3x - 5 = -y
(3x - 5)/-1 = y
-3x + 5 = y
The slope is the coefficient of x. So, the slope is -3.
