You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First you must divide by 44
.5=1-e^2x
Now you subtract 1 from both sides
-.5=-e^2x
.5=e^2x
In order to get rid of the e you must take the ln of both sides the ln key should be located on you calculator
ln(.5)=2x
-.693147181=2x
You must divide by 2 on each side
x=-.34657359

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve
22=44(1-e^2x)
----
1-e^(2x) = 1/2
e^(2x) = 1/2
---
Take the natural log of both sides to get:
2x = ln(1/2)
x = (1/2)*-0.6931
================
x = -0.3366
