A student=y
mistakes=x
k=$0.65
Your equation of variation is y=$0.65x
Plot a couple of points:
If the students finds 0 mistakes:
y=$0.65(0)
y=0
Plot (0,0)
If the student finds 1 mistake:
y=$0.65(1)
y=$0.65
Plot (1,.65) .65 is a little more than half way between 0 and 1.
