If sinB = -1/3 With B in QIV what is tan(B/2)
cos B=√8/3
Using tan half-angle formula:
tan(B/2)=(sinB)/(1+cosB)
tan(B/2)=(-1/3)/(1+√8/3)
tan(B/2)=(-.333/(1.9428)≈-.1716
B/2=-9.74º
