The slope, m, is defined as m=%28y%5B2%5D-y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D-x%5B1%5D%29. It doesn't matter which ordered pair is x%5B1%5D,y%5B1%5D and x%5B2%5D,y%5B2%5D because you'll get the same answer. Using substitution we get m=%286-6%29%2F%28-8%2B4%29. Because the numerator is 0, the slope is 0 and by definition, that's a horizontal line.
